Day 2 Jagersberg Camping - Christiana

In the morning we had a great conversation with the farmer Donald, and after that we moved towards Van Wyksfley where he recommended us to buy some biltong… And it was delicious...

After stocking ourselves up with biltong and droewors, we headed on tar road to Prieska and then we chose small gravel roads towards North East, the weather was very hot and dry… 44 degrees:

We crossed Orange River

And then we went to see where Vaal and Orange Rivers meet.

Then we crossed some small villages with greeting kids:

And then again some small gravel roads and villages:

It was getting late in afternoon and we started to look for a camping. The sky was getting darker and darker and spectacular:

We found one camping on our map in Warrenton, and when we got into the city it looked pretty nice:

But as we got closer to the campsite the scenery turned a bit sad, lots of rubbish everywhere, like this:

Arriving at the campsite which was called Transka Holiday Resort we decided to move on and look for a better spot. So we drove to the town called Christiana and there we found a pretty nice place to camp near the Vaal river. The camping was called Christiana Recreational Resort. The only problem here was that people are aloud to play loud music all night long….. so our sleep wasn't the best.... grrr….. Anyways we had a great spot and we enjoyed ourselves:
